Welcome
The Greighlan Crossing Pipe Band, located in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada, is a Grade 3A band established in 2004. Over the past twenty years, the band has grown into a highly accomplished and internationally recognized ensemble.
A member of the British Columbia Piper's Association (BCPA), the band competes in Highland Games across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. In addition to its competitive achievements, the band actively engages in various community events and performances, fostering Scottish culture within the local community
Competitions
Greighlan participates in local Highland Games competitions throughout the Pacific Northwest (British Columbia, Canada and Washington state, USA), as well as periodically travelling to other provinces of Canada and along the pacific coast of the United States. The band also travels internationally every few years.

Community Involvement
Greighlan Crossing is committed to serving our local communities by promoting Scottish culture by performing at cultural events, fundraisers, parades, and proudly represent our region at Highland Games both at home and abroad. Through our community presence and performances, we aim to keep these rich traditions alive while entertaining folks young and young at heart!

Fun Facts About Greighlan

Our two-headed dragon logo symbolizes the two founders of Greighlan Crossing Pipe Band, Graham Davidson and Len Leroux.

In the early days of the band, members wore their personal kilts until enough funds were raised to purchase a bolt of fabric for the kilts we proudly wear today—the Weathered Sutherland tartan.

The band’s mascot is a crocheted dragon named "Greg Land," a playful nod to the frequent mispronunciation of our band’s name.

In 2010, the band had the opportunity to travel to China, performing at various music festivals and even on the iconic Great Wall.

After a long hiatus from international travel, we returned to the global stage last year, competing at the prestigious World Pipe Band Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.
